Crystal Palace Sack Neil Warnock

Neil Warnock has become the first casualty of the 2014/15 Premier League Sack Race after Crystal Palace sent the Yorkshireman packing following the club's 3-1 Boxing Day defeat at home to Southampton. The loss extended Palace's winless run to six top-flight matches, while it also dropped them down into the relegation zone.
Warnock was appointed Palace boss - for a second spell - back in August following the shock departure of Tony Pulis, who surprisingly left the London outfit just 48 hours ahead of their opening match of the season. Warnock enjoyed a four game unbeaten start (in the league) to life back at Selhurst Park, however he has since carved out only one win in 12 games; a dire streak which includes seven defeats.
Warnock's abrupt exit means that the Eagles are now on the hunt for their third manager since August. The Next Crystal Palace Manager Market reveals that the likes of Tim Sherwood, Chris Hughton, Tony Popovic and former boss Tony Pulis are among the early contenders for the vacancy. Meanwhile the club's assistant manager Keith Millen has been placed in charge for Palace's crunch clash away to relegation rivals QPR on Sunday.
