Paolo Di Canio Rules Out Swindon Return

Paolo Di Canio has today (Wednesday) ruled out any possibility of a dramatic return to Swindon Town. The charismatic character had been installed as one of the bookmakers favourites in the Next Swindon Town Manager Odds but following an interview with Sky Sports he revealed that he had no regrets over his decision to resign and his chapter at Swindon is now over.
The Italian sensationally quit the high flying League One club earlier this month and has already been linked with a number of vacancies. Meanwhile Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale remains the favourite to replace Di Canio, with the likes of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Kevin Blackwell, Tim Sherwood and Mike Newell also in contention.
Swindon are currently 4th in the table in what is proving to be a thoroughlly exciting race for automatic promotion, with just four points separating league leaders Doncaster from 7th placed Bournemouth. The Robins are next in action away to promotion contenders Coventry on Saturday.
