Hearts Part Company With John McGlynnby Jack Kitson / 28 February 2013, 11:09Tweet
Hearts manager John McGlynn has left Tynecastle by mutual consent following four straight defeats. The SPL side were defeated by fellow strugglers St Mirren on Wednesday night, which proved to be his final match in charge as the club dropped to second from bottom in the table.
McGlynn replaced Paolo Sergio in June 2012. He was immediately hampered by financial constraints as the club were entering into a transitional period, which meant he was only able to bring in a couple of new faces. The 51-year-old got off to a poor start, with just one win from his opening six matches at the helm, and in truth the Edinburgh side never recovered.
Hearts will now begin the process of finding a new manager. Once available the odds will appear on the following page: Next Hearts Manager Market.
