Uwe Rosler scorching hot favourite for Fleetwood Town jobby Jack Kitson / 29 July 2016, 14:48Tweet
There's been a significant development in the betting to become the Next Fleetwood Town Manager after Uwe Rosler stormed to the top of the market.
The former Leeds boss started the day (Friday) second in the running behind Rene Meulensteen, but bookmakers Sky Bet have since slashed the German's odds from 2/1 down to just 1/10 - making him the scorching hot favourite to replace Steven Pressley.
Rosler is keen to return to management, with his last job dating back to October when he lasted just a dozen games at Leeds. Prior to that brief spell - whch was cut short due to the ruthlessness of Massimo Cellino - the 47-year-old spent 11 months in charge of Wigan, while he oversaw 136 games at the helm of Wigan.
Now, with just over a week to go until the League One campaign kicks-off, Rosler could now be on the verge of landing his fourth managerial job in England with Fleetwood, who were left managerless earlier this week after Pressley surprisingly called it quits.
The latest movement means that the former frontrunner Rene meulensteen has drifted out to 11/2, whereas Gary Neville is now priced at 10/1, with Ryan Giggs a tad longer at 12/1.
