Bolton Next Manager Betting has Mark Hughes as Joint Favouriteby Mark Cohen / 30 December 2009, 15:08Tweet
There has been much action in the betting markets followed the early news this morning that Gary Megson has got his marching orders at the Reebox stadium. The fans who vented their anger after the match will soon have a new manager and there have been many names put up by the bookmakers.
At the head of the market are both Mark Hughes and Paul Jewell who was on hand to witness Bolton's drawn match against Hull and many who were watching the Sky Sports news may be putting two and two together and coming up with five. Paul Jewell would be a very good man for the job having done such a good job at Wigan but he found it difficult to follow this up at Derby County. Online Bookie Victor Chandler have him as the early man for the money at 5/2.
The other manager who is bound to feature in all the next vacant managerial posts is Mark Hughes and he is also one of the favourites for the job but we do not believe that he will be interested in this role following scaling such lofty heights in recent months.
