Tim Sherwood hot favourite for the sack

Tim Sherwood has been installed as the hot favourite in the Premier League Sack Race following Tottenham's devastating 4-0 defeat to Liverpool. Prior to the weekend's action the under fire boss was hovering around the 10/1 mark, however he ended Sunday as the odds-on frontrunner to become the ninth top-flight boss to lose his job this season.
Spurs supporters were hoping that their side had turned a corner following their superb 3-2 comeback against Southampton. However, it was not to be as they were ripped apart by a rampant Liverpool side, who back in December beat the Lilywhites 5-0 at White Hart Lane, in what proved to be Andre Villas Boas’ last match in charge.
Sunday's loss at Anfield was Tottenham's fourth in their last six games in all competitions, and it all but ends their hopes of finishing in the top-4. A spot in next season's Europa League is now also looking unlikely, with 5th-placed Everton four points ahead with a game in hand, whereas Man Utd are now breathing down their necks, following their win against Aston Villa.
According to a number of reports Louis van Gaal is set to replace Sherwood at White Hart Lane this summer. The Dutchman is keen to join the club after Netherland's World Cup campaign comes to an end, with the 62-year-old currently the hot 1/3 favourite in the Next Tottenham Manager Betting. Elsewhere Saints boss Mauricio Pochettino can be backed ast 12/1, while Frank de Boer is available at 20/1.
