The betting to become the next Leeds United manager has taken another twist after Garry Monk was propelled to the top of the market. The former Swansea gaffer has been out of the dugout since losing his job at the Liberty Stadium back in December, but he can now be found as the evens favourite (Sky Bet) to resume his managerial career in West Yorkshire.
Last week Leeds suffered back-to-back rejections from Milton Keynes Dons boss Karl Robinson and Bristol Rovers' Darrell Clarke, which resulted in current manager Steve Evans - whose contract runs out on 30 June - returning to the summit of the market.
However, today (Tuesday) has seen another movement in the form of Monk, who is bidding to make his managerial comeback this summer. Meanwhile, Evans remains in the mix at 4/1, followed by Crotone boss Ivan Juric (5/1), and the former Frosinone manager Roberto Stellone (12/1).
