Owen Coyle scorching hot favourite for Blackburn Rovers jobby Jack Kitson / 31 May 2016, 09:30Tweet
Owen Coyle is the scorching hot 1/7 favourite (Sky Bet) to land the Blackburn Rovers job after departing Houston Dynamo last week. The former Bolton and Burnley boss has jetted back from America in order to pick up a post in England, and he could now be set to be named ats Paul Lambert's successor at Ewood Park.
Coyle began his managerial career with Falkirk, before moving to St Johnstone, and then down into England with Burnley. The 49-year-old led the Clarets into the Premier League only to trade jobs for Lancashire rivals Bolton half-way through the 2009/10 campaign - then suffering relegation in 2011/12.
Coyle went on to have a brief spell in charge of Wigan in 2013, and then MLS Houston Dynamo, with whom he managed between December 2014 and earlier this month.
Going off Twitter it's safe to say that many fans aren't too happy at the latest movements in the betting...
I feel bad for the person who runs the rovers account, they're gonna announce Owen Coyle and they're gonna get so much abuse— nikki (@_NikkiHolt) May 30, 2016
