Managerless Leicester City are reportedly considering the possibility of hiring Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark and the former England manager Kevin Keegan, with the highly rated Clark being installed as Sven Goran Eriksson's successor and Keegan employed as the club's director of football. The Next Leicester City Manager Betting is really starting to hot up now and the club's Thai owners, King Power, have revealed that they will back the new manager with more funds as they look to get their promotion prospects back on track.
On Saturday City suffered their fifth league defeat of the season as they went down 3-2 at West Ham in their first match since Sven was sacked. As a result they have slipped to 14th in the Championship and five points outside the play-off zone. Huddersfield boss Clark, who at the weekend saw his side extend their remarkable record-breaking unbeaten run to 41 league games, remains the 5/6 favourite in the betting with Paddy Power while Mark Hughes is priced at 6/4 and Billy Davies at 8/1. Also in the frame are Gordon Strachan and Kevin Keegan who have both been handed odds of 9/1. Meanwhile Celtic boss Neil Lennon has ruled himself out of the running after stating that he has no intention of quitting the SPL club.
The Foxes travel to Burnley on Tuesday looking to avoid their third consecutive league defeat. Paddy Power have priced Burnley as the 6/4 favourites for the win, while Leicester have been handed odds of 2/1 to come away with the three points. A draw is available at 12/5.
