Wenger Sore Loser as Arsenal Bow Out

Mr Wenger you just have to accept that your youngsters are not good enough to take on the best that money can buy. There is no point getting shirty with Sparky Hughes and walking away at the end of a game, you just have to face facts, you need to rethink your Carling Cup policy if you are going to win this trophy. Arsenal bowed out of the Carling Cup last evening by three clear goals and this game was never in doubt once Carlos Tevez put Man City ahead at the start of the second half.
As Arsenal tried to get back into the game you could just see the tension building on the touchline with Wenger and Hughes giving the fans a sideshow to the main event. As the match ended the Sky Cameras focused on the managers leaving the playing area and as Mark Hughes went to find Wenger, he saw him heading down the player's tunnel before the customary hand shake. Hughes had a few words to say to viewers in his match summary and to be frank he was spot on, 'He should be more gracious,' said Hughes and that says it all.
Wenger's comments after the game about the incident "That has nothing to do with the game. I am free to shake hands with whoever I want to after the game. There is nothing more to say about it."
Well here at The Sack Race, we feel there is and the papers this morning are full of this incident. Last month we were full of praise for Arsene for the great run his side went on, unfortunately Wenger gets a black star this month!
