Martin O'Neill linked with Everton after odds slashed

Everton may have ended a rotten seven match winless run in the league on Saturday, but that 2-1 success over Bournemouth has done absolutely nothing to quell the pressure on the club's under-fire manager Roberto Martinez.
Martinez was heckled by supporters when leaving Goodison Park, and it's now nearing the point where a summer departure is seemingly inevitable following two desperately disappointing seasons on the spin.
A whole host of managers have already been linked with the Toffees in recent weeks, including the Republic of Ireland boss Martin O'Neill, who has been slashed from 40/1 to just 5/4 (Betfair) in the Next Everton Manager Market, leaping above the likes of Ronald Koeman, Manuel Pellegrini, and David Moyes.
O'Neill is currently focused on the upcoming European Championships in France, but whether he'll remain in charge of The Green Army once the tournament ends remains up in the air. The former Leicester City boss has been frequently linked with return to club level - he's also featured in the Next Nottingham Forest Manager Market - and if a vacancy does open up on Merseyside, he may very well be tempted.
