Name England’s 11 managers at major tournaments

International football returns to the fore this week as qualification for the 2018 World Cup gets back underway across the globe. Eight countries have already booked their place in next summer’s showpiece spectacle, including hosts Russia and five-time, but more can join the party in the next few days.
1966 winners England have the chance to progress through to their 15th World Cup finals when they lock horns with Slovenia at Wembley on Thursday.
A victory will propel unbeaten England up to an uncatchable 23 points at the top of Group F after nine games - with one matches remaining - while a point could also prove to be enough, depending on the outcome of Slovakia’s trip to Scotland.
However, a shock defeat to Srecko Katanec’s Slovenia means England’s hopes of automatic qualification would go down to the wire, although Gareth Southgate’s men would be the overwhelming favourites to grab the spoils away to minnows Lithuania.
England have previously played in 23 major tournaments (14 World Cups and 9 European Championships), however The Three Lions have famously only ever hoisted the 1966 World Cup on home soil, failing to even reach a final before or after this success.
In total 11 managers have led England at major tournaments since the 1950 World Cup. But, the question is, can you name them all in our quiz below?
Good luck!
