Managers Chase Premier League Jobs

We are some way into the season now and they are several Managers queuing up for a job in the Premier League after being given the boot by their clubs recently, while some are biding their time waiting for the right opportunity in the big league after having a break from the game. It has been a relatively quiet season so far in the Premier League in terms of Managerial vacancies with only Portsmouth changing Managers, and in that case Avram Grant was waiting in the wings to swoop into the hot seat at the first chance. VC Bethave opened up a new market looking specifically at five top Managers out of work and looking at which will be the first one to get a Premier League job, the Managers in question are; Alan Shearer, Darren Ferguson, Steve Coppell, Gareth Southgate and Alan Curbishley.
Each of the five are well respected Managers but they are at different ends of the spectrum in terms of experience with Coppell and Curbishley well schooled in the Premier League and the other three still finding their feet in the harsh world of football management. Curbichley is the favourite with VC Betto claim a Premier League job first, the former West Ham manager has been out of the game for a little while now filling his time with TV work but he may now be ready to get back involved. The same can be said of Steve Coppell who left Reading at the end of last season and is one of the most experienced Managers in England, a man with his knowledge of the game is sure to get offers at the top level but we are unsure he is ready after a draining spell at the Madejski Stadium.
Gareth Southgate was sacked from Middlesbrough a month or two ago after having three years at the helm before the club were relegated to the Championship, he does have Premier league experience both as a player and Manager and is well respected in the game so is another one to consider in this market. Darren Ferguson and Alan Shearer are the outsiders in this one as they have very little or in Darren Ferguson's case no Managerial experience in the Premier League. Ferguson did an excellent job at Peterborough before being harshly sacked in the the Sack Race's view, there is likely to be a club out there that will be willing to give him a chance soon enough to see if he can emulate the success of his Dad.
All five of these Managers are well respected in the game and it will not be long before we see a couple of them in the Premier League, some clubs will be looking for an experienced head such as Coppell and Curbishley while other Premier League teams are happy to give the youngsters like Southgate, Ferguson and Shearer a chance to prove themselves. The Sack Race believes that it will be Alan Curbishley who will be the first to take a Premier League job ahead of his rivals in this market from VC Bet, he has a good record at both Charlton and West Ham and will relish the chance of a Premier League return.
