Bob Bradley new favourite for the sack while Slaven Bilic is on the ropesby Jack Kitson / 05 December 2016, 10:15Tweet
Bob Bradley is the new favourite for the sack after his sorry Swansea side were hammered 5-0 by Tottenham, which was the club’s ninth defeat in 14 Premier League games this term.
The Swans boss, who has picked up just five points from his seven games at the helm, can now be found at 11/8 (Bet Victor) to be the next top-flight gaffer to leave his post.
In contrast, the pressure has eased ever so slightly on Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew, who oversaw a much needed 3-0 victory over former club Southampton, although he remains right in the mix at 3/1 (Bet Victor).
However, it was a different story for Slaven Bilic who has been cut from 11/1 to 5/2 (Sky Bet) after West Ham suffered a humiliating 5-1 defeat at home to London rivals Arsenal, leaving the struggling capital club one point above the relegation zone.
In the aftermath of the loss Bilic blasted the intensity and desire of his players, and will today (Monday) face questions from the club’s owners, whose patience is being severely tested following a run of just three wins and eight defeats from 14 games this term.
Only rock-bottom Swansea have conceded more goals than the Hammers (29) who must now prepare themselves for a daunting trip to high-flying Liverpool - the league’s top-goalscorers with a whopping 35 goals and 3+ goals in a whopping six games.
Bilic is unlikely to be sacked at this moment in time, although it’s not out of the question, but he will be sent packing if the Hammers fail to perform during a series of pivotal upcoming clashes against Burnley, Hull, Swansea and Leicester, with whom they face before the year is out.
Elsewhere, Hull gaffer Mike Phelan (7/1) will look to pick up only his his second win in a dozen games when he takes his troops up to Middlesbrough tonight.
