Liverpool on the verge of appointing Jurgen Klopp

Liverpool will reportedly appoint number one target Jurgen Klopp as early as Friday. The German is believed to be keen for a move over to these shores as he draws ever closer to landing his first job since leaving Borussia Dortmund in May.
Klopp is now priced at just 1/10 at the summit of the Next Liverpool Manager Market, while his main rival for the job, Carlo Ancelotti, has drifted out to 6/1.
Should, as is now expected, Klopp succeed Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, he will become the first German manager in Liverpool's history, and only the third non-British boss to take charge of the club.
Jurgen Klopp actually *wants* to manage us. This is surreal, the ugly kid is finally going to get the girl.

Klopp will inherit a team that are 10th in the table after eight matches, having won only one of their previous six league games, while they've only scraped together one victory from their last nine matches in all competitions (in 90 minutes).
Meanwhile, the sacked Rodgers has jetted off to Malaga after his three-and-a-half-year tenure came to an end. The Ulsterman has been linked with an instant return to the dugout - 12/1 in the Next Sunderland Manager Market - although he has said he will take some time out of the game before he decides on his next round.
