Steve Clarke returns to the summit of the Next Leeds United Manager Market

Steve Clarke has returned to the summit of the Next Leeds United Manager Market, with the former West Brom boss now available at a best-priced evens with Bet Victor. Clarke previously led the way at the top of the betting for a brief period last week, but drifted out of contention following reports that he wasn't interested in the vacancy. However, the 51-year-old is now right back in the thick of things.
The Whites manager market has fluctuated widely ever since it opened up following the sacking of Dave Hockaday just under two weeks ago. A whole host of candidates have been linked with the job, however at the moment chairman Massimo Cellino seems no closer to making an appointment, with caretaker manager Neil Redfearn (3/1) likely to still be in charge come Saturday's match against Birmingham.
Elsewhere the former Leeds manager and captain, Gary McAllister, is also back in the mix, with the Scot now priced at just 11/2 with Paddy Power. Meanwhile Giuseppe Sannino, Chris Hughton, Simon Grayson and Ian Culverhouse all appear to have drifted out of contention.
