Gillingham are on the hunt for a new manager following the departure of Ady Pennock. Steve Lovell, Graham Westley, and Shaun Derry are all in the mix for the position - click on the odds below to place your bets.
Established in 1893, Gillingham finally gained promotion into the Football League in 1920, but were voted out of the league after the 1937-1938 season, before gaining a path back into the football league when the amount of league clubs were extended from 88 to 92.
Since then Gillingham have been a recognised football league team for most of that time and even gained promotion to Division One through the play-offs in the 1999-2000 season.
The Gills have had several financial problems in the last decade with the ITV Digital breakdown and a brace of relegations not helping their state, but times now look rosier and they can now set their sights on returning to the higher echelons of the Football League under Pennock.
Numerous draws but few defeats has seen Gillingham enjoy a strong run of results. Defeats against Blackpool & Rotherham United are the only black marks on a run that has seen them amass wins against Burton Albion, Accrington Stanley & Plymouth Argyle while sharing the spoils versus Millwall, Bristol Rovers, Oldham Athletic, Blackburn Rovers & Doncaster Rovers
