Time at Club:
Lincoln City are back in the Football League after their manager Danny Cowley led the club to the National Conference title in 2017, something he did at the first time of asking, having only landed the job in May 2016. He would go on to lead the Imps in the Football League Trophy.
Cowley also oversaw a stunning FA Cup run through to the FA Cup quarter-finals, becoming the first non-league side to achieve this feat since in over a century. The Imps dumped out top-flight Burnley, Championship sides Brighton (who went on to win promotion to the Premier League) and Ipswich, before losing to Arsenal in the last-8.
Lincoln last appeared in League Two back in 2011.
A mixed set of recent results has seen Lincoln City collect wins versus Milton Keynes Dons, Crawley Town & Oldham Athletic while suffering adverse results at Colchester United, Newport County & Carlisle United. Draws against Tranmere Rovers, Cheltenham Town, Macclesfield Town & Mansfield Town has seen them show mid-table form at best.
