Time at Club:
Notts County are managed by Australian Harry Kewell who replaced the sacked Kevin Nolan. Nolan spent 18 months in the dugout at Meadow Lane and Kewell will be hoping to improve on this seasons record of just one draw and four losses from their first five games in League Two.
County have played in pretty much every league of English football and they currently find themselves in League Two where they have been since suffering relegation down from League One in 2015. The ownership of the club has changed hands a number of times over the past few years, and it's now Nottingham businessman Alan Hardy who has purchased the club.
Meadow Lane is one of the better stadiums at this level and their history will ensure that Notts County always have a loyal following. They had a brief period in the spotlight a few years back when some heavy investment from the Middle East saw Sven Goran Eriksson appointed Director Of Football. The money did not last long though and the club were bought by the now former owner Ray Trew for just one pound, having amassed a massive amount of debt.
Notts County have not recorded a win in the last 10 games, forcing 3 draws against Northampton Town, Stevenage & Middlesbrough. Defeats to Exeter City, Grimsby Town, Forest Green, Lincoln City, Newport County, Yeovil Town & Cambridge United has seen them concede 29 goals at an average of 2.9 per game while scoring 14 to give them a -15 goal difference over this period.
