Time at Club:
Wycombe Wanderers are managed by Gareth Ainsworth who has been in charge since November 2012 - following a short stint as caretaker - making him one of the longest serving managers in English football.
The Chairboys enjoyed a cracking 2014/15 season, but one that ended in grave disappointment after they lost out to Southend on penalties in the play-off final. However, they have since been unable to bounce back, finishing 13th and 9th.
Wycombe made into the football League back in 1993 under the master tutelage of Martin O'Neill who is considered a legend of the club. O'Neill led the club into the League before moving onto more success in the game and he is fondly remembered by the fans at Adams Park.
Paul Lambert is another famous Manager to have learnt his trade at Wycombe and he will be remembered as the man who took the club to the League cup Quarter-Final against Chelsea in 2006. Lambert went on to experience great success with Norwich proving that Adams Park really is a top class breeding ground for young managers.
A losing record in a binary last 10 games has seen Wycombe Wanderers endure a period of poorer form. Invaluable wins against Fleetwood Town, Walsall & Southend United has seen them keep their heads above water, but reversals against AFC Wimbledon, Rochdale, Charlton Athletic, Portsmouth, Oxford United, Shrewsbury Town & Accrington Stanley has put them on the slide.
