Steve Claridge Views On The Sackrace

Former player and manager Steve Claridge will be on hand to give The Sack Race regular updates on his thoughts on who will be the next manager under pressure and who are the best candidates for vacant jobs.

Having played over 1000 games for over 20 clubs, Steve has a wealth of knowledge from every level of the professional game. Career highlights include spells in the Premier League with Birmingham City and Leicetser, the latter of which he scored the winning goal for in the 1997 League Cup final against Middlesbrough. Steve's worked under many manager's in his time as a player including the likes of Martin O'Neill and he's also had a spell as manager of Portsmouth, Millwall and non-league Weymouth.

Steve now spends his time as a pundit for the BBC, co-hosting the weekly Football League Show whilst co-commentating for 5live. Steve also contributes to the weekly Monday Night Club on radio 5Live which is a very popular program with football supporters.
